Buckles

Wyatt loves to play with the buckles on the shopping carts at the store. I saw this idea on someones blog that she did for her son and thought Wyatt would like it too. I bought some buckles at Joann's and some ribbon. The biggest part of this was that I used a sewing machine. Thankfully Tyson had left it threaded so all I had to do was push the peddle, but yeah, I sewed.

Wyatt's 2 year old Pictures

Wyatt had his 2 year old pictures taken today. He did okay for about 5 pictures, and then wanted nothing to do with taking anymore pictures. They were all still so cute.
Here we started with him being really serious and not wanting to smile.
The Wyatt decided to give us a couple of smiles.

Then I tried to keep him smiling by playing peek-a-boo with him, but then he wanted to copy me.

Wells 2009 Scrapbook

I just finished my family scrapbook for 2009. I had a totally awesome coupon for blurb that paid the cost of the book, I just had to pay 7.60 for shipping and tax, which saved me 38 dollars. Anyone can use this coupon, it is good till the end of August. The code is BLOG2010, it will take up to 49.95 off of any book. My book is 80 pages and totally cute, you can go here to check it out.

Cowboy Wyatt

Wyatt loves to run around in his diaper, buzz and woody boots, and when he can he wears grandpa Ken's cowboy hat. Here is part of typical day in the life of Wyatt.

Cowboys sometimes get into trouble and have to do time-outs.
After I took a picture of him in time-out he turned and smiled and then continued his time-out.
After a long on the range he sneaks into his brothers bed to go to sleep.

Boys Birthday Party

The boys had a great birthday party full of family, fun, food, and lots of presents. After church we went to my mom's house to have a birthday brunch for my Grandpa John (his birthday is August 21st). After that we went home and played and had fun till the family all came over around 6:30 for cake and ice cream (ice cream cake). The boys had so many presents that it looked like Christmas. They will be busy for playing with all their new toys for quite awhile.

6 Years Old

Today Hunter turned 6 years old. I can't believe how fast time flies by. I swear the older you get the faster time goes by. Hunter is such a fun loving kid with a HUGE heart, and an awesome big brother. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. We love you so much Hunter! More pictures to follow as the day goes on.

Bedroom Humor? I think NOT!

Wyatt is a HORRIBLE sleeper. He does not like to go to bed, it takes usually over an hour to get him to sleep. He just keeps getting out of bed, and that's not the worst part. The worst part is that he wakes up around 2-5 times in the middle of the night and is ready for the day. Now his new thing is that he gets into Hunters bed, but Hunter usually kicks him out. But if Hunter is asleep, then Wyatt just sneaks back in bed with him.

And after he is finally asleep, you have to go and check on him because this is what you might find.

1st Day of School

So, here are some pictures of Hunter on his first day of school, and of course Wyatt just had to get in one of the pictures. Hunter is getting so big, and missing so many teeth. Hunter is excited about his new backpack with a hologram picture of "How to Train Your Dragon" picture on it.

Wyatt just had to jump in, they look a little alike with both of their hair spiked.

Orientation Day

Today was the first day of school here in Temecula, but for kindergartners it was parent/kindergartner orientation day for about 1 and a 1/2 hours. Hunter already knows his teacher Mrs. Napp. She is a cute little woman with lots of spunk and wisdom for these young kindergartners, he is very lucky to have her as a teacher. Here are a few pictures from this morning.

Too Cool

A couple Sunday's ago Wyatt fell asleep on the way home from church with his sunglasses on. He is one cool kid.

There's a hand in my boot!

Wyatt just can't get enough of his woody and buzz boots. He fell asleep with them on in the car on the way home the other night like this.

Big Fish

Tyson went fishing out in the ocean a couple weekends ago with his friend Mike, for Mike's birthday. He caught 2 big bass, I'm not sure which kind of bass they are. The boys thought they were pretty cool.

Weekend Fun

Tyson was home this Saturday, and spent the day with the boys (which was much needed, Tyson has been working long hard hours and hardly gets to see the boys). Saturday morning started off with some work, Tyson and Hunter dug a trench and installed water pipes, and then used the backhoe to cover them up. Tyson gave the boys a ride on the tractor while they were clearing some brush on the property. Well, they all got very dirty, so they put on their bathing suits and played with the hose on the trampoline. Then we had a late lunch on the trampoline. While Wyatt was taking his nap Tyson played the Wii with Hunter (which Hunter loves to do, especially if someone plays with him). Later that evening we watched The Karate Kid 2 and the boys of course then pretend to do karate to, Wyatt was pretty funny. That was pretty much our Saturday.

Lunch Time!

Wyatt gave up on shooting the bow and arrows, so he kept going down the slid instead. Wyatt loves his cowboy boots, they have Woody and Buzz on them and say "ANDY" under the right boot.

Here is a video clip of Hunter shooting the bow and arrow.
