Bottle Decor

My Grandma came for a visit and together we made these beautiful bottle decorations by drilling a hole in the back of the bottle and adding some festive decorations on the top.

Tree Trimming

Every year we give the boys a new Christmas ornament. Hunter loves to play the wii, so he got a Mario ornament (which was really an action figure that I screwed an eye hook on). And Wyatt got a Buzz Light Year ornament due to his obsession with Woody and Buzz.

FHE & Ornament Craft

Last week for FHE we watched a video of the night Christ was born followed by some kid Yahtzee, and then the boys both made a snowman ornament by painting their hand white and their finger prints became the snowmen. They turned out really cute and were super simple.

Santa

On Friday last week the boys and I met Morgan, Dani and Molly in old town to go see Santa. Molly went first and did great, she did not cry! She would not look at Santa but she sat on his lap and didn't cry (I was totally impressed)! Then it was Hunter's turn and he talked to Santa and gave a smile. Then comes Wyatt. Morgan and to pry Wyatt off him and put him in Santa's lap (Santa did a great job keeping Wyatt from running away). Wyatt screamed and cried, and then Santa gave him a candy cane and that helped calmed him down enough for me to get him to say "Cheese" with a painful look on his face. He did better than last year, and next year hopefully he won't cry, or yet scream in Santa's face. After seeing Santa we went to Rosa's Cantina for some yummy food.

Christmas Tree

Tonight my Mom, Jay, Hunter, Wyatt and I went to Lowes to get a real Christmas Tree. It is big and beautiful and makes the house smell so good. It had been a very long time since we had a real Christmas Tree.
Is it going to be this one?
Nope! It is this one! Can't you tell by Hunter's big smile?
Wyatt wouldn't stay still for a picture with the tree (big surprise), he was to busy running from tree to tree and then finding a good spot where everyone can see him pull his pants and underwear to his ankles and pee for all the see. That's his Daddy's boy.

Firecracker Basketball

Hunter just had his very first basketball game this past Saturday, and yes his team's name is the Firecrackers, the same as his soccer team name and color this year. Tyson is one of the coaches for his team, which Hunter loves! Hunter made an awesome 3 point shot that tied the game (even though they don't keep score).

E.I.E.I. Oops!

Hunter's class and another class did a little play called EIEI Ooops! Hunter was Old McDonald and the problem was that the cow wouldn't moo. It was so cute! I am so glad that Tyson was able to come too.

Christmas light helper

Last week I went over to my moms to hang her Christmas lights for her, and Wyatt had to be in the action. He liked to play in the tangled lights, and climb the ladder pretending that he was flying (yeah, I know I shouldn't let him on the ladder, but that mother of the year award is not for me).
