Shooting

On Saturday after Hunter's basketball game we went hiking and shooting with the boys (well, really just Hunter, Wyatt feel asleep on the way there, so we left him in the car asleep while we hiked the hill. Hunter shot the 10.24 shot gun and either he or Tyson shot a quail. Later when we got back to the shooting bench we had him shoot a 20 gauge shot gun and he wasn't a fan of the kick that it gives, but he still shot that 4 times. His favorite it the 22 that he shoots at the targets. While we were shooting Wyatt watched a movie. I tore up my hand pretty good shooting the gloc gun (stupid me kept shooting and by the time I was done my hand was all bloody. We had a great time (I just love these family outings).

Luck

Okay, I know it's early but they are not out yet, I just finished making them. They look SO much better in person, you can't see the print or glitter on the paper very well in the picture, but they are really cute in person.

Love Blocks

So, my friend Amy told me about these scrapbooking stickers they sell at Target for a dollar. They are really cute! Can't wait to see what St. Patricks Day ones they come out with. So I took Amy's idea (hope you don't mind Amy) and put them on a wood block with some scrapbook paper, paint and ribbon (from the dollar bins at Target).

Car Cozy

I went to my friend Amy's house today who makes these adorable car cozy, and gave one to each of my boys (Hunter absolutely loves his, thanks a bunch!). I showed my sister and her little boy just loved them, so I made one for him. They are so cute and and roll up so nicely (they will be great for church)!

Lily & the Park

Last Friday the boys and I went to go take some pictures of baby Lily, and then afterwards we walked to the park in Brittney's housing track. The boys had fun running around and going down the slides. Isn't Lily just adorable!

Wii Boys

Hunter LOVES the wii, and he really loves it when someone plays the wii with him, especially Dad.

Wet Bags

So have you ever been somewhere and your kids wets their pants, or your baby has a blowout. Or how about to a pool, or the beach and you have these wet bathing suits and don't know where to put them so everything else doesn't get wet. Well, here is the wet bag. A waterproof lined bag to put wet clothes or stuff in. All it is is a shower liner from the dollar tree, fabric for the outside and a zipper. This was my first time sewing a zipper, and I am very happy with the way they turned out. I am defiantly keeping one of these in my car.

Valentine Count Down

This was a fun quick project. I used a cookie sheet, and 2 packages of heart container from the dollar tree, glued down some scrapbook paper and added some number stickers to the containers. Tyson drilled 2 holes for me to hang it with some ribbon. I will put little love note, maybe a candy kiss or two and everyday till Valentines day the boys get to open one. I love advent calenders!

Grandma Cookie

Wyatt just loves his Grandma Cookie (we all do)! Two days ago Grandma Cookie was taking a nap on the couch and Wyatt just jumped right in the covers with her for some snuggle time with Grandma. Grandma Cookie had a cut on her leg and Wyatt was very protective about her "owie". Wyatt loves it when Grandma Cookie and Papa John come to visit.

FHE Basketball

Last week for a family night we took the boys and Aunt Mckenzie to the church to play some basketball. Everyone had a great time running around (Wyatt sliding the floor) and shooting baskets playing "pig".

Valentines

Okay, so I know it's early, but Hunter and I wanted to make them now, it looks a lot better in person. We took his picture, and then I made 2 cuts above and below his hand and then he put the lolly-pop through. Now he has to wait a month before he get to give them to his classmates.

Subway Art & Topiary

 So, I just love the crafts that you can do within a hour, they're the best! What made these great were that almost all (except the Styrofoam ball and bucket) were all bought at the dollar tree, so it makes the craft affordable. So here are the two crafts that were accomplished today. I had better hopes for the topiary, but it's still cute.

Car Seat Blankets

I made these back in October last year, but couldn't post them because there were Christmas presents. The first one is for baby Carlisle with matching reversible shoulder strap covers, and then the same for Holli (baby Seth). And the last one I made for my friend Brittney (baby Lily).

 

Dad vs. Boys

So the new thing for this new year for the boys is play fighting with dad. It is usually Wyatt and Hunter against Tyson and they usually fight on the bed so Tyson can knock them down and it won't hurt. They all enjoy it, and it somewhat wears them out (if that is ever possible with our boys).
