Glass Etching

This was my first attempt at etching glass.  There are so many of us Wells that now I can tell my dishes apart for the rest of the families. It turned out okay. It took forever for the etching cream to etch the glass on the 9*13, and only 5 minutes for the smaller pan. And yes Tyson and my initials are T & A.

Chore Charts

Tiff, don't let Kendyl see this blog post.
For Christmas presents for my niece and nephews on my side of the family I decided to make then all these cute magnet chore charts. I'm glad they turned out cute because they took a long time to put together (then again I was making 5 of them) but it was a lot of fun, and maybe it will make doing chores fun too. The last picture shows the stone magnets with the pictures of the chore on them.

Another Dollar Tree Craft

This was another simple Dollar Tree craft. I took a candle holder and glued to the vase with E6000. then ta-da! Something cute for 2$.

Holiday Jar

I bought this glass jar at the Dollar Tree and put different size circle stickers on it. Then I spray painted it with a frost and a little gold glitter. Now for the different holidays you just need to change the ribbon and add more treats.

Glass Pumpkin

This was just an idea I had, and I thought it turned out pretty cute.
It looks cute with or without the lights on.

Soccer Star

Hunter's Fall Soccer season started 2 weekends ago on Sept. 11th. His team name is the Firecrackers, and he is number 9 this season, just like last year. He is quite the stud on the team, he is not afraid to get in the swarm of kids surrounding the ball. He scored 2 goals in the first game and 1 in the second game. He is a very lucky kids because he has a huge cheering crowd. With most of the family living close by we have a big section of Hunter fans. I didn't get a picture of Hunter with his Grandma & Grandpa Great that came to watch his second game, along with cousin Wayne and his girlfriend Alex. Here are a few pictures of or soccer star and fan crowd.

Meadview, Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day wweekend our family went to Meadview Arizona to visit Tyson's family and play on Lake Mead. We camped out on the shore the whole weekend and went to Grandma and Grandpa Peterson's house for dinner's. My brother and his friend Kyle came for a couple of days to have some fun too. So here are some pictures of our totally awesome weekend and we didn't want to end. (We actually didn't leave till Tuesday, Tyson and Hunter played hookie for school and work for one more extra day of fun).
Tyson
Tyson & Wyatt wakeboarding, Wyatt loved it, and wanted to hold the handle, he had the biggest smile on his face when Tyson bent down and let Wyatt's feet hit the water.
The headband on Wyatt's head is to protect his ears from getting water in them since he had the tubes put in his ears, just if you were wondering why we have a headband on our boy.
