Utah Trip

Last weekend Tyson dropped the boys and I off at my sister's house in Utah and then headed down to California to get our new furniture (thanks Mom, we love it)! While at my sister's we went to her husbands family reunion were the boys fished (mainly Hunter) and had water fights (mainly Wyatt). We went swimming at Uncle Jeff's and Aunt Maria's pool. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Maria came over for dinner one night and played in the backyard. Hunter really wanted to go to Neptune Park, a really really cool park down the street from my sister's house. While we were there Tyson had just made is back from California and met us at the park and surprised the boys. Later that hot day we got out the slip in slide for a little fun. The night before we left to go back home to Idaho Tyson took Hunter fishing with his Uncle Brandon, and cousin Chase up a canyon somewhere in Utah where Hunter got a 18.5 inch 2 pounder brown trout. Then next day (Thursday) we made our way back home. It was a great trip, as it always is when we visit family.

Sad to say, but this was the biggest catch of the day

Ryker made the mistake of getting his mom wet, Oh she got him back

At Uncle Jeff's and Maria's pool. Kendyl broke her arm right by her elbow while we were there and eventually got a cool orange cast. (Which by the way, ryker had just got his cast off his arm not even a week ago. Ryker and Kendyl have both broken their arms 2 times. Sorry Tiff, you got the broken arm curse).

Hunter just loves baby Briggs

Yes I got in the water too, it was too hot not to.

Wyatt just had to wear his snow boots in the 90 degree weather.

You have to do a silly picture. I just love the look on Rykers face.

Bulls Eye

Tyson took Hunter out shooting tonight since it doesn't get dark here till about 9:45pm. Not only is Hunter totally awesome at Soccer, Baseball, and practically in sport he plays, but he is great at shooting too. Tyson bet Hunter 2 dollars that he would be able to shot a bulls eye at 100 yards, well, he did and now Hunter's waiting for Tyson to pay up. He's such an awesome kid, so glad he's mine!

Boys and a Box

The other day Tyson brought home this huge box for the boys to play in (it was a box that had a bath tub in it for a job site Tyson was working on). Hunter drew the lines of where he wanted the door and windows and then I cut them out for them. They drew picture all over it (Wyatt drew a bunch of guys he called pirates). But is wasn't till the next day they decided to become astronauts and make their club house a rocket. I have a video of them counting down from 10 to 0 then blast off and they rock the box back and forth till it tips over, but it doesn't want to upload to blogger. They have probably spent at least 6 hours so far playing with this box, and the biggest part is playing nicely with one another like they are best friends (just as it should be, right).
Focusing hard on their drawings

This video is really bad quality, it's from my phone.

Direke's Lake

Lately we have been meeting our friends down at Direke's Lake one day a week. We usually try and choose the hottest day of the week to go. This week Hunter got to come too since he is now out of school for the summer. Wyatt spent most of his time in the sand and the water, where Hunter spent at least half of his time, if not more on the docks trying to catch fish using a net (which they caught about 3 little ones). Fun times and many more to come.

Sunday Dress

Today Tyson stayed home from church (still somewhat sick). The boys and I were ready for church by 10:30am but church isn't till noon. So after a couple rounds of playing the game Sorry, we decided to leave early for church and go look at the Shoshone Falls. The boys always look so handsome on Sundays I had to take a few pictures of them. It was misty there and a cold breeze, but a beautiful day.

Wyatt is such a goof ball, it's always hard to just a picture of just a smile.
