Colorado

For my birthday weekend our family flew to Colorado, (well, really for Tyson to help his uncle build a deck.) This was Wyatt and Hunter's first time on a big airplane. They both were great fliers, Wyatt passed out both times on take-off and slept the whole way (thank you Benadryl). Hunter colored the whole way there and watched a movie on the way back. While we were there we had a ton of fun. I love Colorado! Tyson's Aunt Steph and Uncle Kelley took Tyson and I for my birthday to a restaurant called Salt Grass, a really yummy steak house. Tyson's cousins Parker and Clint watched the boys for us while we went out. The 3 days we were there Tyson and his Uncle and the boys helped rebuild their deck. It turned out beautiful! Thank you Aunt Steph and Uncle Kelley for such a great weekend.
Hunter excited to take off.

Lady's Man

Hunter’s teacher came up to me and said that Hunter had come up to her during lunch and very seriously with his hands out to the side said, “Mrs. Oddi, I just don’t know what to do, all the girls love me, they all love, what do I do?” she said she told him to just tell them thank you. Mrs. Oddi went on to tell me that he is such a lady’s man. I told her that when he was about 2 years old we were at Target in the checkout line when h pointed to a little girl in the basket behind us and said, “I want one of those.” He sure does love the girls.

1st Soccer Game

It was a hilarious soccer game of 4 and 5 year olds, the green dragons vs. the purple tigers. It consisted of a huddle of little kids pushing and kicking each other (even their own team mates) to be the one that scores a goal, it was more like tackle soccer. You have a kids or two the runs off the field crying and girls out there doing kart wheels and twirling their hair. I have to say I very proud of Hunter, he scored the very first 2 goals, and another 2 later on. They don't keep score at their age, but it was probably close to a tie. Hunter had a great fan crowd consisting of his Mom, Dad, Brother, Uncle Morgan, Aunt Dani, Cousin Molly, Jennifer Wyand and Bradley. We were all so proud of him. If you ever want a good laugh just go watch a little kids soccer game, it is so worth it.

5 Years Old

Better late, than never. Here is Hunter's 5 year old picture. He is growing up so fast! He is such a sweet loving boy. He loves the "grils". The first week of school he was pushing the mean boys to protect the "grils" and then the next day the teacher told me that he was kissing the girls. We had a little chat and he says, "Mom, I just like the grils and they like me." He is going to be such a heart breaker. He is such a special little boy.

My Climber

Since we have the stairs blocked off so Wyatt can't climb up them, he had decided to climb the out side of the stairs. He goes all the way to the top, he hasn't fallen, yet. He thinks he is so big.

Bath Time

To save time, I usually give the boys a bath together, Wyatt is a splashier and Hunter is not. Hunter does NOT like water in his face, where Wyatt can really care less.
Wyatt dumping a cup full of water on his own head.
Bath time Buddies
Here is a little video of what Wyatt is like in the bath, and why our floor is usually wet after he has a bath. Andrew, this video is for you!

Soccer Season

Hunter had his first soccer practice this past Monday. He is on a coed team and is the tallest by far. His team name is the Purple Tigers, Hunter is not a fan of the purple and wishes that it was blue instead. His first game is on Saturday the 12th. I am just as excited about it as he is.

Ready to show his skills
The first soccer practice
Hunter's Team Okay, so while Hunter was practicing, I found a worm and gave it to Wyatt to play with. I then volunteered to do an activity with the kids, and when I came back, Wyatt had eaten half of the worm. YUCK!!! I should of known better.
